My original title to this got changed but that is ok. My Black Swan event was Iran closing the Strait and probably shooting up any ship that tries to come thru it. I do not believe that this is expected. Iran knows that closing the Strait would be committing suicide as their oil and facilities are located there as well and their economy is so bad. I fully expect Israel at some point will attack, its just a crap shoot to see what Iran does. Thanks for those who take the time to read and comment.

Seems the word processor did some small changes to the article. I am working on getting them fixed as I know its not Jordon, but Jordan. I just love computers, of course its usually tends to be user error in the end. LOL Thanks

Covered Calls: Mandatory Option Trading Techniques for the Income Investor [View article]
DNDN's instant drop was a surprise to lots of investors. Covered calls could not have provided the type of protection that was needed. Only by owning puts could one get what was needed. So in trying to relate it to this covered call article, one could have sold the cc's and taken the funds to buy puts for protection. This works best for someone who already has a built in profit as they bought the it for a much lower price. It does not work so well for someone who just recently bought the stock as that type of trade really limits any upside potential.
