Prior to founding AltaVista in early 2004, Mr. Krause worked at UBS in New York, where he developed and published Global Profit Picture — the first attempt by any major Wall Street firm to measure and dissect corporate profitability worldwide. Michael also produced and enhanced the industry-leading publication focusing on S&P 500 earnings, Profit Picture Monthly. It was during this time that he developed expertise in analyzing indices which he now applies to the world of ETFs.

Having lived and worked in Asia for six years, he speaks Japanese and Chinese. He is also a frequent contributor to broadcast and print media.
