Michael Xie is an independent equity analyst. Inspired by Ben Graham's works he has invested in the Chinese market since 1994. His value investment philosophy brought him more than 20 times of capital appreciation. His expertise include but not limited to governance analysis, earning quality analysis, special event analysis, and policy analysis. Now he is creating a private equity fund focusing on China investments.

He holds an MBA from HEC and completed his undergraduate studies with a degree in ocean engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is also a CFA.
