I sold out in the $6's to fund some better ideas, fortunately. I still think there is value and think McConnell is a solid operator, but unclear how long this will take to turn.

Stated differently, I should have heeded Ross Felix' foreboding words well before I continued to pound the table for this idea.

ACA is the most significant competition, IMO. STM is simply an alternative. I think HIIQ has a pretty good lock on STM given the relationships with insurance carriers and rolling up captive call centers and offering attractive commissions to brokers. I think this platform is pretty sticky.

A great way to acquire new customers cheaply and to create sticky customer relationships. Very smart.

Well, I hope that is the case. I'd love to see a higher than $75mm market cap.

No question it is a great business. Hard to argue with their moat and continued 20% revenue growth.

All good. Q4 report could be real catalyst. They should generate about $20mm FCF. That would open people's eyes, I think.

Hi, thanks for the comment. I wrote this article when shares were in the $7's which gave pro forma EV of less than $100 million at that time using $70 mm net cash at year-end estimate. The shares have run about 25% since this report.

Yes, I'm implying the E&E business has recurring revenue, sticky customer relationships, etc etc. Relationships with K-12, government and corporate clients. E&E worth more than entire market cap at these levels. The consumer CD biz is not the reason to own RST.

Hi Keith, thanks for your note.

    1. Yes, RDCM does have a $15mm NOL so shouldn't be a cash taxpayer for awhile.
    2. Nothing really, just opex should return to normal levels in Q4, i.e., $3.3 to $3.5 million.
    3. Could be. I didn't fully consider the currency translation in the estimate. Just trying to get rough estimate of Q4 EPS which should be good sequentially and year-over-year.

Glad to have you on board as a fellow shareholder. Should be a terrific outcome.

Thanks. Yes, I agree. Brocade recently bought a small CEM player called Vistapointe Networks.

Who knows if it is an acquisition target, but Mr. Zisapel has a history of selling his companies to larger competitors. See his wiki page:

"Former members of the RAD Group include LANNET, which was sold to Madge Networks in 1995 and then to Lucent in 1998; Armon, sold to Bay Networks in 1996; RADNET, sold to Siemens and Newbridge Networks in 1997; RADLINX, sold to VocalTec in 1998; RADWIZ, sold to Terayon Communications in 1999; RADLAN, sold to Marvell in 2003; RND, sold to USR Electronics in 2003, RiT, sold to Stins Coman Group, 2008, SANRAD, sold to OCZ Technology in 2012, and Radvision, sold to Avaya in 2012."

Hat tip to SA Contributor Valuable Insights for highlighting RDCM more than a year ago. The inflection point took maybe a couple quarters longer to appear, but VI's thesis was spot on.
