Join the last 12 Months I have used 25 % of my liquid cash investing directly into consumer oriented stocks of companies whose products I consume literally e.g. Chipolte, Whole Foods etc and found this to be a profitable move. I still keep 20% in Biotech long term , mainly because Biotech companies were my clients and customers for 15+ years. However I have been retired for 15+ enjoys the " fruits of my labour" and occasionaly getting involved in Patent litigation analysis.
