Preview from Europe: FOMC Disappoints the Markets

I sometimes wonder what the point of the EU having fiscal rules when France and Germany, the two biggest nations in the block constantly violate the charter. It is also interesting to note that the EU's tough on inflation keep from dropping rates is largely negated because its members QE policies despite the fact that economists believe you should lower interest rates before engaging in such QE chicanery.

After all, lower rates is fair and affects all pretty equally where as QE is arbitraty, disproportionate, sometimes outright corrupt, hard to track, and is politically hard or impossible to reverse.
