    • Mr. Massive: I did an asset backed valuation, sum of parts=whole, putting a 24 price target for buy out. 43% of 32 billion comp growing 60 y/0/y=sexy

    • Irishmedic: in english for us uneducated please, it sounds sexy but what does it mean, lol

    • Mr. Massive: Imagine owning 43% of Chinese eBay with that massive and blossoming population. Yahoo Japan as well.

    • bankingqueen: will never happen, YHOO is worthless. Will sink into the abyss soon.

    • Mr. Massive: has a couple valuable pieces. Cut the fat and you still have second most popular search engine, top sports page, etc. MSFT is my guess

    • Irishmedic: charts are iffy, MACD is cutting or bouncing? the RSI is +, but the 30 EMA and 32MA are narrowing, possible pull back comming short term
      9/24/11
    • Irishmedic: In saying all that it is one of the only charts I have looked at with a flattening 64 MA so that has got to be positive to the extreme.
      9/24/11
    • Irishmedic: Wow, difficult to call, perhaps slight pull back and then a run, 16 + by the charts if it goes
      9/24/11
    • Irishmedic: So you can beat on me later, short term to me is 2-5 trading days, long term is 30-40 trading days
      9/24/11
    • Irishmedic: 16+ post short term and within 40 tds's
      9/24/11
    • Mr. Massive: Yeah I see 17.50 this week. Buy out at 17-34. Sounds crazy, but Asian appeal to MSFT is so tempting.

    • anarchist: just want it to be over $14/share by option expiration.
      9/24/11
    • Irishmedic: I am assuming you own the calls, so watch for a run up in the next week and then get out, its going to get ugly real soon here
      9/24/11
    • anarchist: actually I sold some Oct 14 puts but thanks for the advice. I may get out anyway since I am well above break-even.
