The only solution is to craft an environment that suits growth, that is the crux of the European problem, thus far none of the initiatives taken have even addressed this issue. End games generally deliver solutions. We have yet to see this.
It's a little unfortunate that its an issue that's so highly politicised, I think it really blurs the risks, perhaps one reason that markets have been so resilient.

Agree, it's a well trodden argument. But the crisis is a reality.
There have been factors supporting the euro, rate differentials principally thanks to the unwarranted tightening the ECB enacted earlier in the year not to mention the Fed pro-actively talking down the dollar, more recently we've heard talk about European's repatriating cash to cover bond losses too. But the EUR has been trending lower for some months now, albeit slowly.

Interesting how the market is reacting to referendum offer being withdrawn, Greek's accepting austerity doesn't change anything, it's just another can kicking exercise. EU need to focus on growth, eurozone recession will add to the existing problems, worry now is Italy but French downgrade equally a big risk.
