It looks good from strategic point of view. However, after reading all the feedback, there are many more technical aspects to be considered. By all means, more options to boost AAPL or INTC's share prices are better than none.

No, I did not short BB, fortunately. I am a more conservative investor and waiting for the actual numbers before making the decision. I don't short stocks like BlackBerry with such great potential.
However, I do read all comments, including positive and negative, and there are just too many valuable inputs/suggestions for me to learn. BB10 is by far the most interesting product for me to learn with all the interesting comments.
