  • Low Nonfarm Payroll Number? Don't Blame Demographic Shifts Only [View article]
    xebec,

    Thanks for your comment.

The chart is graphed on the data generated by YCharts.com. The purpose of the comparison is to show the divergence between the index and US NFP number since early 2012.

  • Pengrowth Energy And Penn West Petroleum: Not In-Sync With Oil & Gas Prices [View article]
    DividendInvestorLA,

That's the problem of technical analysis as different time frame results different conclusion. In the near term, I do agree that PGH may due for a bounce if it can hold above its major support.

    Thanks again for your comment.

  • Can Options Trading Considered As Seeking Alpha?  [View instapost]
    Rookie IRA Investor,

Your comment is greatly appreciated and very thought provoking. I concur that when it comes to street investors, what matter is if he/she can make a profit and achieve his/her goal of capital preservation/income/re... I doubt if usual investors know the term Alpha well. However, it's an learning process. SA provides a great community for investors to learn from each other.

I really believe there will be values for street investors to learn options to better hedge against the risk and learn how to achieve better returns in the long-term instead of viewing options as risky, exotic trades.

Thanks again for your great comment.

    Hi, Energex,

Thank you for your comment. Sorry for the confusion and I had forwarded a correction to change my statement as it should be PGH had reduced its dividend (http://bit.ly/11Mlu4A). No, I do not suggest more dividend cut is coming for PGH. However, some do feel PWE may cut its dividend.

Thanks again for bringing this up.

  • Buying Ubiquisys Is A Small Deal But A Sound Move For Cisco [View article]
    MexCom,

Thank you for your great comment and I apologize for using the term not familiar by readers. I will definitely watch out and improve my writing style on that end. Your point is well taken.

Regarding NGN, it is the Next Generation Network (NGN), the network that will replace the current network around the world today used to carry voice, fax, modem signals, etc.

As quoted (http://bit.ly/XumP0E), NGN is essentially a managed IP-based (i.e., packet-switched) network that enables a wide variety of services. Among those services are VoIP, videoconferencing, Instant Messaging, e-mail, and all other kinds of pakcet-switched communication services.

Thank you and hope that clarify.
