I am a valued oriented investor. My research is primarily a bottom-up, fundamental value approach. I look to identify stocks which I believe have significantly deviated from their fundamental value, where I can understand both why the stock has deviated from its fundamental value, and why it will return to its fundamental value. I will focus on undiscovered small caps when an opportunity for asymmetric information exists. My long ideas are usually deep value contrarian investments with a 2-3 year time horizon, while my short ideas usually have an identifiable near term catalyst to cause a revision in value. My primary areas of interest are financials, industrials, manufacturing and alternative energy. I welcome informed comments on my articles.
