Bullish. I hold shares, then I sell out of the money calls on rips and buy them back cheaper on dips.

Covered calls is a good incoming generating strategy for retirement accounts, FIW. Channeling stocks make good covered call candidates.

Which is one reason I like writing covered calls in up markets. Selling a call will lower your cost basis but if the stock keeps dropping...

...I'd advise buying back the call and selling the stock. Just because you have a covered call doesn't mean you give up on trade management.
