$KMB hasn't had a pullback like this since the financial crisis. A fantastic, lower-risk opportunity imo. $T and $PM look great here too.

    • zoralsurgeon: Ocean Man please teach me bc I don't see it with $KMB. It looks expensive still from a valuation and PE standpoint to me... $T still seems

    • zoralsurgeon: a little expensive for me to start a long position. I understand $T comes with a premium due to the dividend but based on price vs earnings

    • zoralsurgeon: I would like to see T fall a little lower. $PM I do agree with an recently opened a position.. excited about it! Again teach me about $KMB

    • zoralsurgeon: bc I want to own the company but still feel like it's overbought from a historic standpoint (I am a buy and watch for 10-20 years guy)

    • Ocean Man: Glad you agree on PM! You make an excellent point that KMB is not ridiculously low right now from a historical P/E or valuation standpoint,

    • Ocean Man: my point is more that the market was justifying a price 15% higher when the market was making new highs and you can collect a nice yield

    • Ocean Man: Stocks in the "most popular yield plays" area like KMB, T, MO, PM, not high-yield but that 3.5% to 5.5% range, on double-digit % pullbacks

    • zoralsurgeon: What are you thoughts on T? I was hoping to see pick some up at 33.00

    • Ocean Man: have been some of my most successful plays over the years, and are relatively safe in the event of a further down move in the market.

    • Ocean Man: I like to buy these on a 5% market drop, with the intent to sell half and move into higher beta names if there's a larger market drop, or

    • Ocean Man: ride these up if the market heads back up from here. A beta-hedging strategy that helps you not miss out on rallies.

    • toptrotter: $KMB Just under the 200 day SMA but has not reached the GOLDEN CROSS. Long $T and $PM.
