  • CIT Avoids Bankruptcy: Asian Markets, S&P Futures Advance  [View article]
    I can't help but wonder if there was any pressure put on the firms that will be advancing the financing to ensure the deal would happen, in the interests of not spooking the market. Despite the fact a CIT bk wouldn't pose a "systemic risk", it certainly wouldn't do anything for investor/consumer sentiment.
