    Maybe because there is none? I'm guessing that things are still muddled enough to prevent presenting a "strategy"....only a group of potential options, i.e..."if this happens, then we do this...if that happens, we do this", etc. Even the government's pockets aren't deep enough to endlessly support bond buying, esp. on the long end, in an effort to keep a lid on rates.

    The lack of a clear direction in the markets is a reflection of a similar confusion/caution on the part of investors, large and small. Published figures on economic activity are suspect, but the question is, how badly are we being lied to? On the technical side, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of clarity, either...hence, a "Mexican standoff".
