Oliver Davies

Oliver is portfolio manager at a long-term value fund based in London. He started work as a research analyst at a long-only value fund in London after developing a taste for value investing in US college. After two years in the job, he decided to set out on his own, sticking to the principals of long-term value investing. This means he rides out the storms, even in the face of market volatility and angry clients. He uses a research intensive approach to selecting stocks and runs a very concentrated portfolio. Short positions are very rare. They are only initiated if conviction is high.
