I am not familiar with Jason Schwarz (I googled him when I saw your comment), nor do I subscribe to his newsletter. So, I don't know what exactly he wrote about there, but this is my own work. Most of the data from the article is publicly available, and the opinions expressed are my own.

Parko,
You can't value it based on current earnings because they are practically non-existent at the moment. You see the enormous potential for Tesla when you consider explosive sales numbers and a future ramp-up in production + a third generation car that will be cheaper and therefore available to more and more people.
So, watch for growth and future developments, and if the company can deliver what it is promising.
Ford Keeps Delivering Strong U.S. Growth [View article]
I wouldn't compare investing with grocery shopping. Rather as a race, why go with the slower driver? I would want my investments to perform, and go higher relative to other stocks. Relative strength is an important feature I look for, as I want to own the best performers, not the ones that are not performing.
That's my general idea, but I don't see much of a difference between Ford and GM, and I see GM as only performing slightly better than F. Both stocks are good investments and very similar from my standpoint. However, if I had to choose right now, it would be GM.
Maybe so, I try to listen to the price, and it is telling us that things are not that great right now. However, keep an open mind, things can change in a heartbeat, and I like Baidu's long term prospects.
But growth is slowing down, you have 4 consecutive quarters of decelerating revenue growth, and 5 quarters of EPS growth slowdown. Don't get me wrong, I am bullish on BIDU long-term, but the short-intermediate term picture is not so good right now, and there might be a better time to buy it.
A higher price might force the shorts to cover. That means they must buy the stock. If there is a large short interest, like there is in Tesla, if they all start to cover, it puts the pressure on the stock price as demand rises, and might cause other shorts to also cover. And hence, you might have a short squeeze at hand.
Thank you for your detailed reply. I think it is impossible to predict the future revenue and profits that far out. Analysts are often unable to predict one or two quarters from now. Also, stocks often trade above/below their fair value, and growing and exciting technologies are often traded with a premium on their growth and bright prospects.

And as for the short squeeze, we don't know for sure yet if there was a squeeze, we will see when the data is released.
