  • The 5 Most Important Criteria For Deciding Whether To Hold Or Sell Facebook Stock [View article]
Google has grown way beyond their founders at this point. That's why Eric Schmidt was able to step in and out easily.

Amazon would be similar but that's a very strong, autonomous business. It would run well with a seasoned CEO.

When you have a company with over a billion customers run by a kid who started it in a dorm room and which now has huge amounts of public resources behind it, risk takes a different meaning.

I think they will eventually find a way to crack the advertising bubble by buying a company like an Amazon. A strategic merger (as opposed to an acquisition) will probably be the path to success.

Great and accurate alternate title my friend.

The average age of FB employees means very little to me. Youth could be a strength or a weakness depending on how you look at it.

The strongest tech leaders in the world have been seasoned men (Gates, Ballmer, Jobs, Ellison, Dell etc). They started young but led (and still lead) their companies as adults.

    Zuck is an exception.

    *sigh*

Your comment is ignorant on so many levels it would be futile to respond thoroughly.

It absolutely would not be ad fraud.

It would be a random, non guaranteed incentive. Very different from encouraging fake clicks or page views..

Over time, the idea is that those users would organically stick around...

Color is of utmost concern on the web. Ugly colors affect everything. You have to admit that it looks like crap?

You're right BUT... a bidding war means that you're in the game. That's different from today.

  • Stephen Elop's Mistake At Nokia Could Make Him The Right Person To Replace Ballmer [View article]
    Great analysis.

The only problem is that you could argue that Elops myopic outlook is EXACTLY why he shouldnt be CEO. Just more of the same.

You make both cases within the same article.
