    ames, yes short term pullback or consolidation before another push at the first sight of a major hurricane seems like the logical pattern. But who knows.

    User, yes fed cuts did help push the dollar lower and cause more inflation but it seems to me fear was the real driver during that timeframe. Fear of a hurricane in the Gulf. If you remember oil production was stopped in the Gulf a couple times during last season due to a Gulf hurricane and that was enough to keep prices afloat for awhile.

    Yes i watched this movie called "An Inconvenient Truth" and there are "couple" scientists that say greenhouse gases cause a warmer atmosphere from fossil fuel use. Just saying that its kinda linked i think LOL
