  • Airline Firms To Overtake Energy Cos In Targeting Mobile Consumers: TCS

IT services giant, Tata Consultancy Services (NYSE:TCS), in its research report, has said that the energy, telecommunications and airline firms are taking the lead in spending to engage consumers via their mobile devices. The New Digital Mobile Consumer global trend report has showed that average expenditure with the companies surveyed in these sectors during 2012 was between USD 27 million to USD 31 million per company, said the company in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. During the year 2012, energy companies spent an average of USD 30.8 million per company in targeting mobile consumers.
