Very thorough and well-researched article. Fairfax Financial has had an incredible (and justified) run since being shorted mercilessly (most recently) down to $92/share in June 2006. Quite a few folks have been seriously burnt by trying to short FFH in the last two years. This article lays out precisely why the shorts are so desperate to plant hack jobs in the media -- they [the shorts] are so fundamentally wrong about the business.
