    As with any position, you can close out options and/or sell shares whenever you think you no longer want to be involved.

    To do that you just buy back the options you no longer want to be short.

    You can also close out shares and options when thigns go so well so fast that it isn't worth waiting for the expiration date. That frees up your capital for other opportunities.

    Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

    Apollo had its doubters with similar concerns back in 1999 and 2006.

    After seeing the shares hit a [split adjusted] low of $7.80 in 1999 the shares tripled in less than 18 months and peaked at $98 in under 5 years.

    Bears on APOL in 2006 watched in horro as the shares rebounded from a low of $33.30 to $80.80 over the next 12 months.

    Short this one from its current valuation level at your own risk.
