        <![CDATA[<p>Upon analyzing over 30 years of data involving the gold price, we conclude that the seasonal lows usually occur in March and June. Quite often however, after the June low a secondary low is experienced in August. This secondary low is usually slightly higher than the primary low. People who have resisted the temptation to buy the June low will usually take advantage of this last opportunity before the start of the Christmas rally that seems to happen almost every year.<o:p></o:p></p>  <p>The past few days have seen the domineering short sellers do their utmost to drive the price into the basement, hoping that they might be able to reduce their &lsquo;net short&rsquo; position, which had grown quite high. At some point the hedge funds and thinly margined investors run out of gold to sell to them and then the selling dries up. Next, some technical buy signals commence to flash and buyers begin to outnumber sellers again, and this starts the next rising sequence.<o:p></o:p></p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Much discussion has taken place in recent weeks, regarding the possibility that gold and silver might continue to sink to lower levels, as the summer doldrums set in.<!--more--> Investors soon become shell-shocked with negative market analysis that looks at a half-full glass of water and refers to is as ‘half empty.’

<p>They read about a member of the Federal Reserve Board who is quoted as saying that he is worried about inflation, and they interpret this to mean that the dollar is going to rise, and gold might fall, just because of that single comment. If the man was serious about his concerns, he and his pals would be raising rates, not lowering them! Of course we know that their hands are tied, as the Fed cannot raise rates until the economy, especially the housing market, can handle higher rates.

        <![CDATA[<p>Buy signals are popping up in many places as a result of Tuesday's positive action in the metal pits.<!--more--> Since I <a href='http://seekingalpha.com/article/55768-gold-and-silver-the-rally-isn-t-over-yet'>posted my last article</a>, gold has made several ‘higher lows,’ a sign that the bull market is alive and well. Admittedly the Amex Gold BUGS Index (HUI), XAU and Amex Gold Miners (GDM), went lower than I expected. In retrospect I blame the various ETF’s for drawing money away from the gold and silver stocks. The streetTRACKS Gold Shares (GLD) now has over 19,800.000 ounces of gold in back of it. Even during pull-backs in gold, while investors are dumping their gold stocks, fresh money keeps moving into the GLD.

According to a recent report from NanoMarkets, a leading industry analyst firm based in California, the market for silver conductive inks is expected to rise from the current 176 million dollars per annum to 1.2 billion dollars during next 7 years.
