    • Peter Epstein: ANR was up despite its earnings miss & production cuts. Bulls like further production cuts from ANR, but I believe a lot more is needed.

    • Windsun33: Apparently a lot of the ANR loss was from a one time charge or write off. Most other coal stocks were also up.

    • Peter Epstein: Things at ANR in the quarter were bad even beyond the big write-off. The write-off is non-cash.
