I'm an investor in his early thirties who knows how to have a good time and not live life too seriously. I'm an avid value investor, along with dollar cost averaging my retirement, though I occasionally jump off the beaten path and "gamble" on less certain assets.

I am a 30 year old individual investor that maintains my own portfolio with preference to the DGI strategy. I have a 401k that I contribute to as well to earn matching contributions. I also invest in growth stocks, in which I believe have substancial upside at a reasonable price. I have been growing my portfolio through regular contributions and spend a lot of time researching and learning with content from SA, Schwab (Morningstar) and Yahoo Finance. I plan to write a few articles in the future about my life and investing decisions. Thank you for your time and I hope to provide quality content that can create some excellent dialogue.

Private Investor. Been in the Markets for 30+ years, mostly with the more well-known stuff. Have been successful utilizing the "buy-and-hold" strategy, but will trade when the situation warrants it. Have been using the investing principle of selling covered calls at times. This requires discipline, but can be very profitable.
My background is in Finance/Accounting. I have a diversified employment history, having worked in the Healthcare, Aerospace, Retail industries.

Been interested in stock investing ever since early teens when I read "Beating the Street" by Peter Lynch. Invested in mutual funds throughout my teen years as I learned more about picking individual stocks. Started picking my own stocks recently after seeing little to no growth with my mutual funds and getting tired of the large expense fees. I focus on investing in large cap dividend growth stocks. Goal is to create a well diversified, dividend growth portfolio to be used to retire early.
