It would be helpful to know what happened to the Micron partnership with Intel concerning fabrication of flash memory. It is also the case that PCs with Vista will likely need several times the memory of XP machines, so the memory patch as a whole should benefit from this in Q3 (back to school), Q4 (holidays) and beyond.

In view of this JV, what is the status of the Intel-Micron memory project?

One possibility is that MU needs to continue capex in order to bring home the joint venture deal with Intel concerning manufacture of flash memory. If that is the point, then late this year or early next year there should be a revenue increase. If instead MU is simply making dubious decisions about financing and spending strategies, with the Intel deal tangential, then I don't see a positive outcome anytime soon.
