  • Yum Brands: Midlife Crisis In China [View article]
It seems to be that the yellow chickens are more desirable as a commodity. I have heard enough horrors stories when it comes to KFC and the companiy's treatment of animals, forcing them to grow very fat, mutating them to have more limbs and meat, etc. Also, heard that they defeather them while still alive. In any case, 37,000 restaurants is quite a feat--and from a investment stand point, it seems like a good deal, YUM brands that is. However, I do not want to eat chicken which has ingested antidepressants.

  • Clearwire Completes Sprint Nextel: A Great Buy With Reduced Risks [View article]
2.5 ghz... but different types of LTE. Interesting. I find that all carriers have their areas of strengths and weaknesses.. specifically in regards to coverage. How many times have you been with a carrier in where do get poor cell phone reception in your OWN home? It is quite a frustrating thing. Anyhow, sure this is a nice move to strengthen Sprint.

  • The Great Recession Is Over: Time To Back Up The Truck [View article]
Looking forward to a great 2013 and leaving all the 2012 nonsense behind. Now with the Fiscal Cliff averted, we can move on. Those making $400k or less have been spared from tax hikes.

  • A Gameplan For Apple To Keep Its Competitors In Check [View article]
I am not certain that having a choice between sizes on an iPhone is the answer. I suppose that seems like a nice be able to choose as a customer--but there you would add a lot of manufacturing technicalities and costs. Besides, if you go any bigger (like the Samsung Galaxy 2 or whatever it is) then it will no longer fit in your pants pocket.

Who eats this stuff anyways? You ask me, I think most of these fast food establishments should be banned.

  • The Apple iPhone Frenzy Is Here [View article]
My understanding is that the iPhone 5 will be slightly longer and also thinner than the current version. Additionally, they have reworked the plug at the bottom. Curious what features the phone has, as I know the ios6 has many new ones. Thank you.

  • Best Buy Might Want To Accept Richard Schulze's Buyout Offer [View article]
"Operating income declined by 52% year-over-year and $91M in restructuring expenses during the quarter added insult to injury."

Not sure the details of the restructuring, but one thing that Best Buy DOES need to restructure is the training or qualification (or lack thereof) of their in-store staff. They are unbelievably unknowledgeable and often unwilling to help.

I imagine an entity like Best Buy isn't easy to run- though it is a place one keeps coming back to because of the convenience-- and the fact that prices often make their electronics and goods a "best buy".

    Thank you.

  • Starbucks Stock Looking Hot And Toasty [View article]
I am curious to hear more about the Verismo single serve. Is it like their instant VIA coffee? Also very exciting to hear that they've signed a contract for mobile phone payments with Square. They are truly bringing their business to the future! Very convenient and forward thinking. Now, if parking meters and garages would adopt the same technique...
    Thank you.

  • Isotopes, Shortages, Solutions & The Growing Demand Of Cancer Treatment [View article]
To me, this seems like a "no-brainer" investment, though undoubtedly, the company (Advanced Medical Isotope corp) may face a rough road ahead for a bit. Nonetheless, a 200% increase in value in the past 3 months is something to note. In regards to the shortage of isotope supplies in the nation, and even the world, it seems logical to invest in a company-- no matter how small-- that is set up to start the manufacture of said isotopes. Mo-99 production and distribution to this country alone could yield absolutely staggering numbers as far as investment value goes. Thank you.
