    • Momintn: Some retail stocks are going to have their best earnings report ever this month or next. $COH is going to have a very good one in 2 weeks.
      Jan 2, 12:51 PM
    • Gabu: Is $COH a good buy at current level ?
      Jan 2, 1:09 PM
    • Momintn: Yes. It is on its 200 dma. I'm not sure this is the cheapest price. But it is close to it.

    • Philip Saglimbeni: an interesting note, I was at the mall yesterday and the busiest store BY FAR was Coach, then Burberry and then Michael Kors

    • Philip Saglimbeni: there are a lot of retailers at nice levels here but one can only own so many . . .
      Jan 2, 1:30 PM
    • Momintn: My mistake from chart on TDA; $COH is over 9% BELOW the 200 dma....very cheap!
      Jan 2, 1:38 PM
    • Gabu: Thx for the inputs..But lil concerned why MarketEdge is showing $COH as a Short candidate...Agreed,it is lower than all the MAs(10,50,200).

    • Philip Saglimbeni: I am not too familiar with COH's numbers but it does appear pretty cheap at current levels, and extremely cheap when viewed next to rivals

    • Momintn: MarketEdge is usually the lowest rated analyst for the stocks I lookup on Fidelity.
      Jan 2, 3:40 PM
    • Gabu: Momintn-I am a novice and a very small investor. Can u suggest good analysts to see?Other than SA, I look at MarketEdge,S&P,Argus,Ned Davis.

    • Philip Saglimbeni: Gabu, if it helps, out of the ones my broker offers I prefer S&P, the Sreet and Ford Equity. The Street is always a little excessive

    • Philip Saglimbeni: with regards to price targets but their analysis/research is usually well done
      Jan 2, 3:52 PM
    • Philip Saglimbeni: And Credit Suisse is usually good too, hope that helps
      Jan 2, 3:53 PM
    • Momintn: Credit Suisse's performance was -5.5% on their US stocks list in 2011. 2012 isn't stated. I would not follow them.

    • Momintn: If you go to Fidelity where you can sign up for a free look you can see many ratings on your stocks with rankings for analysts.

    • Momintn: Starmine Relative Accuracy is usually high for Eva Dimensions, Jefferson Research, and Ford Equity Research. Look also at S&P and FirstCall
      Jan 2, 4:12 PM
    • Ocean Man: I was also wondering why so many retail names were down today. Only saw strength in $URBN and $APP.
      Jan 2, 8:13 PM
    • Ocean Man: Probably the payroll taxes increasing hitting discretionary spending.
      Jan 2, 8:14 PM
    • Momintn: Chain store sales are reported tomorrow and Monday Credit Suisse said they would be weak.
