Praveen grew up in Louisiana, and studied economics and computer science at MIT in Boston. After working in New York, he now calls Atlanta home. Praveen has extensive experience in both IT and finance, having built systems for credit derivatives trading, loan exposure management, and structured securities trading during his time in New York. Praveen also started and successfully sold a startup, SmartWorkGroups, during the dot-com boom, and is currently at work on HiddenLevers, a startup focused on bringing macro risk analysis tools to investors.

HiddenLevers also provides a unique Macro Risk Screener, a stock screener which enables users to find stocks which could benefit from trends in commodities, interest rates, or any of almost 40 different macroeconomic indicators.
