I also herein define what I mean by "long" -- Long, for me, means holding until I decide to sell for personal reasons. I have held stocks over a year and under a year. I see nothing wrong with day-trading.

I often write about stocks I own or may plan to buy and I may buy/sell at any time for my own personal reasons. My articles often reflect my personal study. My articles obviously always reflect my opinion which may or may not be shared by others. My opinions about a firm can and do change. I can be positive one day and negative the next depending on my interpretation of events and corporate variables. I think the general weakness of published articles is the lack of transparency--to help with that, I've always disclosed what I own, may plan to buy and/or sell.
