Mr. Baurys, a serial entrepreneur, has been involved in both the technology and health care industries in various business adventures over the past 20 years, including serving as CEO of an incubator that launched companies for FedEx and others around the nation. With his clinical partner Sue Hrim, RN, Bob built several companies, including a respiratory company, a small software firm and a service provider that focused on the needs of diabetic patients.
In the late 1990’s, Bob was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Searching extensively across the nation, he was able to find minimal relief. The cost was substantial, and nothing provided a positive, long-term solution. Forced to find his own solution in a fragmented health care system, Bob’s experience became the basis for Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Centers which currently treats more than 17,000 patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.
A core strategy of developing consumer-driven specialty care practices for chronic, disruptive medical conditions ensued.
Hobbies include active equity and option trading.

Retired from engineering/management since 1997. Largely biotech, but some other stocks and real estate investor for over 25 years. Enjoy skiing, sailing, sports. I enjoy the role of Devil's Advocate, so some of what I say may be to provoke discussion, and may not reflect my actual opinion.
I'm currently undergoing treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I had planed to be skiing now, but sometimes life gets in the way of your plans. While I'm confident of achieving remission, I intend to be very critical of the FDA for the way drug testing is done. I'm strongly in favor of streamlining the clinical trial process, especially when related to drugs for potentially terminal diseases. I am scheduled for stem cell transplantation late this month (4/15).
I am Managing Broker with a company in Canada and my activities including investing in stocks, commodities and real estate. I am doing this for last 5 years and my basic thrust is into technology, mining and emerging new energy comanies.
