  • buying back a little gold this AM. Seems like the thing to do. Also looking at Nov. 21 PAAS calls, strikes at 25 and 26 have become cheap.

  • Henry Blodget says gold hasn't done anything as an investment. Um. Wrong. Gold up 28X since gold standard was abandoned. S&P only 8X.

  • Standard China-fare like LFC and BIDU appear to have turned the corner. BIDU is trying to make a new hight. I am in with a tight stop.
