Tata Motors: Corporate Background for the Attractive Indian Automaker

It's difficult if not impossible to call which stock will or won't outperform the market. I can't say that, but what I can say is TTM is a well-managed, cash-rich company, in the right place at the right time, with valuations that are favourable for the long term investor.

In either case, to my knowledge TTM is the only automotive component of the "market" or BSE Sensex 30 index - which is weighted in a large part towards oil and gas(Reliance Industries and Oil and Natural Gas Corp.), consumer goods (Hindustan Lever), and IT companies (Infosys, TCS and Wipro).
