I have a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, and I have a CFA designation. Presently, I am employed at the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, and my focus is healthcare inflation. I have published in the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, the Journal of Health Economics, the Official Journal of Statistics, the Journal of Social and Economic Measurement, Economic Inquiry, and Contemporary Economic Policy. My specialties include discrete choice econometrics, selection bias, time series, and simulation methods. I am very interested in risk measurement methods and portfolio management theory.
