The firm has posted an enviable 30% average annual return for investors from 1992-2010.

His top tech picks are particularly interesting. His top five tech picks (see table below) have returned 32% on average versus Nasdaq's 16% YTD gains. The following is a list of five tech stocks in which SAC Capital has significant holdings. I believe Baidu and Google are good growth stories available at reasonable valuations, while eBay is a good turnaround bet. However, I am a bit skeptical about Apple's prospects after the recent rally and have a neutral rating on the stock. I also don't like LinkedIn because of its high valuations and increasing competition from Branchout. Hence I will avoid it.

        By Rash Menaria:
Fisher Investments is a Woodside, California-based investment advisory firm founded by billionaire Kenneth Fisher. Fisher Investments manages $33 billion worth of equity assets, primarily adhering to a value-oriented approach, managing U.S., international and global portfolios.

In this article, I take a closer look at the five tech stocks (see table below) in which Fisher Investments has significant holdings. I believe Baidu and EMC are good growth stories, while Intel and IBM offer the Growth at Reasonable Price (GARP) proposition. Amazon has the highest PE among these stocks and appears overvalued. Hence I will avoid it.

2012 has seen one of the best start for the stock markets in the last several years. The rally is lead by tech stocks with NASDAQ gaining 18% YTD versus 12% gains of S&P500 and 8% gains of the Dow Jones industrial average. For investors who are skeptical of chasing technology stocks after the recent run up, I have examined five large cap technology stocks (see table below) which have missed the 2012 rally.
