The economic benefits of digital delivery are obviously there. Not only would paper use be reduced by delivery costs would be as well. Of course, many jobs would be eliminated as a result but this is all part of creative destruction.
But I still like my print paper - I'm set in my ways and not likely to change unless price signals make it compelling to abandon print for digital. I suspect that this will occur in time as the economies of scale associated with widespread print delivery are reduced when more and more readers opt for Kindle and online reading. I suspect it will take several more years for this to play out.
