my point???? LOL....I just might be taking a "dirt nap" in 3 years as you so bravely pointed out, and maybe even sooner, so I like to have lots of cash around me to give away. Its also harder for me to pee these days but I am still breathing, thank you very much.

Some people never cease to amaze me. Maybe I get amazed too easily...lolol.

there is no sweet spot rolled in one little sock that fits everyone.....otherwise you would be making a lot more commissions selling your funds, and not adding comments to pimp your own articles here.

Harm......imagine beginning a dgi approach when very young and reinvesting all those divis......it basically makes your very long comment a moot point, but thanks.

If an idea makes good money, would anyone of sound mind call it a bad idea?

The fact that Immelt promised not to cut the dividend lends itself to my assertion that it surprised very many people.

  • Hey Millennial! Retirement Saving Is For Suckers! [View article]
Seriously disagree with the title of this article but agree about investing. I also dont like those silly commercials, but that is the way the business is.

I encourage EVERYONE to save a lot, as young as possible, for as long as possible.

That is where everything begins sir, and is NOT for suckers.

Hi friends. I hope that this article brings some solid commentary and rater than me including myself in every comment, I will let the thread go wherever it should.

On the other hand, I will respond to those comments that are far from helpful or disengenuous, in the hopes of disuading others from that world of hate, whether cloaked or obvious. That way I will be able to evaluate where I will take my next series of articles that might help even more regular folks....for FREE, exclusively on Seeking Alpha!

  • Dumping Apple Makes Sense For Immediate Income Growth [View article]
Investors who are immature to investing are the types I have found to leave such comments. It helps nobody, aside from the pleasure they derive seeing their inane comment actually in print. It does not bother me, since I think it is hilarious that someone would actually take the time to write it!

  • Dumping Apple Makes Sense For Immediate Income Growth [View article]
Back in late December 2014 I wrote that 2015 would be the focus this year for this portfolio, without looking at anything but income growth, nothing else. I am surprised that you have not known that since I have directly noted it at least 12 times. I also am fully aware of the concentration of shares in certain stocks and sectors. At some point I will rebalance, but I would suggest that you go back to my earlier articles on this portfolio, why it was made, what and who it is for, and the guidelines to making it work.

Its tough enough actualually building all the different portfolios for different goals, then replying to just about every comment of reason, but to have to repeat myself over and over when someone has done the background work in the first place is draining.

Dont misunderstand, I more than appreciate every comment you leave and thank you for reading, but I have all of my articles in my profile for everyone to refer back to. That is also why I put numerous links in each article. For YOUR sakes, not mine. So please excuse me if I do not jump as high or as fast or as soon as you would like.

Its now up to you to find out whatever it is you seemed to have missed. ;)
