  • Investment Strategy: What Portfolio Withdrawal Rate Can You Live With? [View article]
This absolutely is the kind of stuff i do not subscribe to. These cookie cutter models are simply a bunch of financial planner gobbledy gook. It does not even take into account any growth, or dividends, or anything else a real investor could do and get. To me, this is irrelevant. Each person is unique. Not a chart.

  • Will Apple Exist 3 Years From Now? How Much Will It Be Worth? [View article]
Look, his analysis is difficult to read if you are emotionally attached to Apple. The fact is that Apple is a confused company right now and can go either way...whether YOU like it or not.

  • Do Dividends Matter? [View article]
First, Buffet is a tight-wad and has seen better days. Second, dividends that increase every year are the lifeblood of a secure and balanced portfolio. I humbly and completely disagree with this article.

ANY government interference in the free market could eventually cause havoc in the financial sectors. That being said, it has been this way since the printing presses were invented! LOL....another great article James!

A ponzi scheme? That commet alone deserves absolutely no attention whatsoever to the rest of your comment.

It is actually ridiculous and argumentative at best. Have a pleasant day.

  • 2 Things To Do And Not To Do When Your Investment Thesis Proves Wrong [View article]
Loved this article and your approach. Reflection is tonic for the soul and not doing anything rash is the way to go no matter which side of the fence one is on.

In my book, youre the best around James.

  • Seniors Deserve Better Advice: Simpler Asset Allocation And Dividend Stocks That Produce Safe Income [View article]
Very light on the research....your opinion is not to buy T, why? Have you not been following the news? Anyone can put together a list of stocks and give it their own ranking but fundamental analysis is needed before anyone makes any decision about anything. You have no positions in any of the stocks you list, which is fine, but why not? How can you offer advise, and formerly get paid for it, if you do not follow your own?????

Thanks but no thanks, I am a regualr "folk" who has noting to sell, and no clients to seek, and I fired my advisor years ago and pocket the money for myself not anyone elses pockets.

  • Why Buy Annaly? [View article]
Sorry Likely, i happen to like my style....its basic down to earth and easy to understand....which is the way my readers seem to like it as well!

Was there anything you actually LIKED about the article? LOL

Lets see, you follow nobody, have no bio, have written a whole 25 comments (mostly with an air of arrogance) and you have never written an article here....

Care to share your little agenda with the other folks???? LOLOL

  • Is General Electric The Perfect Stock? [View article]
rear view mirrors show what was left behind, not what the road ahead shows. GE has a road ahead that might be unequalled by any other company with a sweet dividend to boot.

The past is history, the future is a promise and today is what we live in...anything else is meaningless ;)

  • James Kostohryz Positions For 2012: 100% Cash The Only Way To Play This Market [View article]
What can I say. I love the discourse and disagree with the opinion James. You already know how much i respect you and your work! I just believe that having everything in cash is not the way to go for many many many individual investors.

Yes the usual mindset is for the running of the bulls so to speak, for the exits when all hell breaks loose.....but we have seen some really positive signs that the USA economy is at the very least, healing.

having a well balanced portfolio of dividend growth stocks and buying the dips with cash reserves can work well with discipline.
