Retail Sails RetailSails tracks 33 retailers which report sales data on a monthly basis. These retailers account for almost $350 Billion in annual sales and operate over 33,000 stores worldwide. While the largest retailer in world (Wal-Mart) announced they would no longer report monthly sales information after April 2009, the available data is still extremely useful in spotting retailing trends early.

Using publicly available information including company press releases, presentations, and SEC documents including 8k, 10Q, and 10k filings, we aggregate all relevant financial information available for these 33 retailers in order to provide meaningful analysis of individual companies and segments of the retail industry.
