  • Invest In Graphene With GrafTech International [View article]
Since this article was written, Graftech is down over 30%. averaging in now in the $7 range. Already own Focus Graphite and Flinders (listed in London and TSE-v FDR) in the space. Looking hard at ZEN and Northern Graphite as well, for entry points.

  • Could The Oil Discovery In South Australia Be A Game Changer? [View article]
Some good points here, however, if the numbers are to be believed, and Dr. Moors is even close to being right, then Australia's reserves would entail 233 Billion Barrels, just short of Saudi Arabian reserves 266 B(if they can be believed) as well as Venezuela (211) Canada (175) Iran (137) and Iraq (115)
Another way to put it would be about 17 times greater than what the U.S. shale reserves would be.

ON another note, It would be nice to get investor comments here instead of a steady stream of political retoric. (just sayin)

  • Could The Oil Discovery In South Australia Be A Game Changer? [View article]
I know this digresses from the article however I feel oblidged to respond. 1/3rd of what Keystone will carry will be Bakkan oil from North Dakota. Most of the oil from this pipeline will be sold into the midwestern states. Yes, some may reach the shipping terminals of Texas, but it will be minimal and only if it is excess capacity.

  • Linc Energy: The 5 Bagger You Don't Know About [View article]
Rodinia Oil, an .08c penny stock, has 85% of 23 million acres about 40 km from the centre of the Linc find (Coober Pedy). that acreage is in the Officer Basin as opposed to the Ackaringa Basin.

Certainly could be the "little guy next door" scenario! Picked up some shares this week. (long shot worth the bet) I agree that Chinese companies will soon be all over this.

ROC seems to be on a quest to obtain more lithium assets since it lost the bid for Talison to Chinese interests. Look to those juniors with assets in close proximity to ROC assets. There are only so many good prospects out there and some rich salars are held by penny stocks like WLC and RDNAF.PK

Thanks for this informative article. I too like both Focus Graphite and IBC Advanced Alloys and have been acquiring shares in both companies in my penny stock portfolio

I believe IBC to be one of the best kept secrets in the microcap space. IN fact, I just bought some more today!

  • Barrick Gold Earnings: What We're Watching [View article]
Barrick has made some obvious takeover mistakes in recent years and with the recent writedowns, have as much as admitted them (along with several other big miners like Kinross). Those writedowns however, should bring some consolidation in the share prices of these miners and a move upward is probably in the cards for this year.(from here)

  • It's Getting Hard To Be A Gold Bull These Days [View article]
I cannot see anything on the horizon that hurts the price of gold, silver, platinum, lithium, graphite, Rees etc. A depression maybe, but that is not in the cards. Central banks have always erred on the siede of inflation, and it seems that this time, it may well be hyper-inflation at some point of the next five years.

Still accumulating.....discl... physical gold and silver, gold and silver miners, graphite producers and lithium producers.

I agree! I did not see it coming and that is why I got out at the ROC bid level. Hindsight is 2020. Forsight is not so clear. Congrats to those who made a little more on this deal!

  • Glen Jones: Investments Worth Their Weight In Graphite [View article]
Thanks for this insightful interview and article. I have been accumulating shares of Focus Graphite and have noted the numerous, recent patent applications for using graphene in so many ways, by a number of the worlds biggest companies. http://bit.ly/Wca4md

I think for the small investor, Focus is a great place to start as its deposit is one of the purest forms of graphite needed for graphene production. Producing graphene from natural graphite of high quality is 5 times cheaper than the man made version and a better material over all. Its tie-in with Grafoid, which is now partnered with Hydro Quebec to develop lithium-graphene batteries for energy storage, is also note worthy.

    Thanks again.
