  • Rock-Solid Long-Term Outlook For Rockwood After Strategic Acquisition Of Talison Lithium [View article]
Thanks for your article. I did very well on Talison (and before that, Salares Lithium which was swallowed by Talison) and I see ROC as a great, long. I will be looking for entry points over the coming months.

  • Rockwood Bids To Swallow Talison Lithium After Talison Swallowed Salares [View article]
Good for you. If I was already in ROC I would also be holding steady, However, there may (or may not) be a pull back. I will be in to ROC at some time in the future, if I find the price to be to my liking.

A good point, however, in my opinion, LIT does not reflect the current lithium market as it is populated by battery manufacturers and companies that really have no part of this market.

  • Gold Vs. Gold Stocks - Part II [View article]
You've lumped all the miners together, and that in itself is a mistake.
Mid tier miners, with producing mines, good production, and growing reserves, will always be targets of the larger fish who know full well that it is easier to increase their reserves and their production simply by swallowing up the mid tiers and producing juniors. Gold is not easy to find any more (in ground) and it is even harder to extract. The big players know this full well, and that is why, especially at these reduced stock prices, some miners are ripe for the picking.

  • Global Meltdown Evident In GDP Data This Week [View article]
"A" Black Swan? You mean "Black Swans" don't you!

You will find one swimming in the 75T debt the USA is facing over the coming decade.
You will find one swimming in the Euro mess of massively over indebted countries backed by massively over indebted banks, backed by those same massively over indebted countries (and around and around we go)

You will find one swimming in the Far East where Chinese cities have built massive blocks of apartment buildings and office buildings that no one lives in or rents.

You will find the biggest black swam swimming in the mess of derivatives still on the books of international banks that over shadow the global GDP by approx 20-1

You will find a black swan swimming in the Straight of Hormuz, with the U.S. fleet build-up as Iran begins to feel the sting of a financial blockade of it's resources.

You will find a black swam swimming in the South China Sea, were China is now flexing its financial and military muscle to the detriment of it's worried neighbors.

Many black swans out there. Just pick one!

  • Why Buffett Is Not Wrong Regarding Gold [View article]
The comparison is wrong! You cannot compare apples to oranges. In an apples to apples scenario, you must compare gold only to cash (the usd which gold is denominated in). Then apply Warren's analogy that gold/dollars can only be stored etc. etc. etc

In this way, gold wins the day, every day, all the time, for over 4,000 years now. 4,000 years is a long time for comparisons, don't you think?

  • Goldcorp A Screaming Buy For The Patient Investor [View article]
A good article. I agree with the premise for a dramatic rise in gold over the next 24 months or so. I also agree GoldCorp and other miners are screaming buys right now, especially in this summer of fear and discontent. I am still adding to my positions, and I like juniors in the sector as I see GoldCorp and other majors gobbling up juniors who have producing mines and increasing production and reserves.

  • Gold - Why The Next Move Is Up [View article]
The wealth transfer from the west to the east has been massive over the past 20 years. Gold is no different. As EM Central Banks buy up gold reserves, Western CB's are in position to sell theirs, and in the case of Spain, Portugal, France et al, they may be forced to, and soon.
For every trade, there is a buyer and a seller, and the wealth transfer of the past 20 years is now being reflected in gold as it reaches the level of Tier 1 bank reserve as early as this fall (See OAS report)
