    At first, I was going to whip out my rule #1 - never chase. But, your methodology is a bit different than a general 'tag along' trade, significantly so to warrant a good look.

    BTW, thanks again for the COLM analysis...enjoying the 30% gain so far. That is one stock that I would still 'buy down' if it drops in price again.


    To Kimball Corson:
    I must point out to you that C has risen nearly 500% from its Feb/Mar lows. It is once again a $100 bil bank. Although I was recently bullish on a speculative basis, I can easily see someone making the point that it is wildly overvalued, especially since the government has (IMHO) taken its eye off the ball - getting rid of Citi Holdings.

    In all, I agree that it may have some merit as a long term holding if signs that the government will exit and take Citi Holdings along with it materialize. Until then, there's a good chance that the sludge in Citi Holdings may result in a second insolvency crisis. I'd be careful with that one.
