  • Netflix Will Be Washed Away By Huge Wave Of Competition [View article]
Really, you realize that this published BEFORE earnings when the stock was trading at over $100 a share? The stock now trades in 60's, I covered my short in the 70's, so congrats on your wonderful insight. Obviously had you followed the advice when given, you'd have made money, or is that of no value.

  • Netflix Is Facebook's Predecessor [View article]
It's absolutely ridiculous to compare competition for facebook with that which faces netflix. Facebook has a huge moat, which is in its ubiquity of use. The only competitor capable of dethroning facebook is google plus, and as only because google puts all its might behind it.

point being they still value content because it brings people to their website, and they are this more likely to purchase something from amazon store. Why else are they doing this?
for the same reason, they would value netflix.

They do to retain you as a cutomser. Look at all Bezos has done. Gives you the Fire at cost + "FREE" 1 year prime membership. Google gives its android system away to get people into its eco system.
Learn the business lesson here, that's why it would make sense to some people

HUH? There will be little if any change. amazon wouldn't rid itslef of the Netflix brand. Netflix subscribers just don;t like getting charged twice as much for the same service as they had before. many consumers don't like price hikes.
