Qualcomm's chip may have appeared in an early run (maybe...) but all the news I'm reading says Google is going with Sirf star III when they launch their Android platform and the G 1.5.

Not that Qualcomm is a bad investment, necessarily, they're really good at stuffing a lot of crap onto a chip for cheap money - but they're GPS performance benchmarks are, for lack of a better term, somewhat "lacking." Qualcomm is pushing these "one chip does it all" solutions whereas sirf is focused just on good and accurate GPS reception. Sirf's chips have both better sensitivity and better altorothms, and if they work jointly to incporporate the technology into Android, you'll see phones that can pinpoint your location to within 10 meters in just a few seconds.

I visited and spoke with a few of their key players several months ago and the idea of profitability was not on their highest priorty list, it was primarily sales growth. That, to me, seemed to be a fundamental flaw in any basic business acumen. After 20 years, will they ever wake up?

I hope all do well with this ETFC. However, those of you looking for stock advice on ETFC, you will mostly be led the wrong way if you're looking here for it.

I have had excellent customer service from ETFC! I think everyone should buy this stock! It's going to be worth at least 6-8 per share in the near future...

Be looking in the WSJ for ETFC to take over AMTD very soon! All shorters beware, it's time to go long ETFC!

That's a huge amunt of NEGATIVE remarks against ETFC...What specifically happened? Are you just short on ETFC? Or do you have something specific to say?

LVLT is not best in class. they dont generate free cash flow and i hate to see retail investors chasing a stock that is worth basically nothing. look at CHTR (a better business model) for a reference point on where LVLT should be trading. the stock is worth $0.50 a share, simply based on option value. ]]>
