Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing: What's Next?

I agree wholeheartedly with your comments and thanks for the comment on my blog post.

The key, as you mentioned, is that BI & DW maturity has now finally risen to where business feels it is an enabler to what they do.
We have moved beyond tool "bake-offs" and shifted to what BI delivers from a business perspective.

Many of our consultancy projects in the last five years has been driven by business people rather than IT. It is an encouraging sign and the only way BI & DW projects will really succeed.
