He began his media career as a business correspondent for Business Talk Radio, moving into long-form radio when a snow storm forced an extension of the business report to 30 minutes, a surprise success that lead to his Stock Talk radio show. The show became nationally syndicated and, when it moved to CNET Radio, that station's highest-rated show ever.
