I started investing in the summer of 2010 after receiving inspiration from my 8th grade civics teacher, who stimulated my passion for stocks, bonds, and government policy. That year, I bought Apple, GE, Waste Management, Home Depot and Gamestop. Since then, I've added a significant number of other stocks, bonds and ETFs to my portfolio.

When I first started reading Seeking Alpha, I noticed the absence of younger investors, and I hope that my articles might help enlighten readers about our view of the economy. I'm a long-term investor, and I like to invest in companies that others might look past, taking advantage of uncertainties in the market.
