Robert Ivan is founder and senior writer of Metaprinter.com (http://www.metaprinter.com), a newspaper industry news source focused on innovation and convergent technologies. During the Summer of 2008, Robert was a graduate intern in the production department of The Washington Post where, among other things, he created the concept for a presidential debate Twitter application on washingtonpost.com which was implemented successfully. He has also been a lead press operator for The Star-Ledger in Newark, NJ and a press operator for Dow Jones and Company in South Brunswick, NJ. Robert received an A.S. in applied sciences from Brookdale Community College, a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Colorado and a M.A. in graphic communications management and technology from New York University.
