Robert Martorana » Profile

Robert Martorana, CFA, has been a professional investor since 1985. He focuses on macroeconomic strategy, ETF investing, and customized socially responsible portfolios. He began as a stock analyst at Value Line, and then worked as an institutional portfolio manager and advisor to high-net-worth clients at Vontobel, Schroders, Barclays, and PNC. He also worked at TheStreet.com as editor of "Street Insight," a website for hedge fund managers.

While at Schroders, Robert was one of four portfolio managers who ran small-cap U.S. equities. He focused on energy, capital goods, and basic materials sectors. Robert became Director of U.S. Equity Research at Barclays, and was part of the global asset allocation team. He supervised analysts in NYC and London, and was co-manager of portfolios with over $1 billion in assets.

Robert studies theology at Drew University, serves as associate minister at Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown, NJ (CalvaryBC.org), and supports an orphanage in Andhra Pradesh, India (FGCministries.org). His email is rmartora@drew.edu.
