I agree. Consumer report surveys are BS. The only number that counts are $. People vote with money on a daily basis. It's much more accurate.

  • Buy, Sell or Hold: Google Still Leaves Competitors in the Dust [View article]
I'm no expert on Google but I have seen a dramatic drop in the CPC I recieve from each click. Maybe the content and keywords changed enough to warrant the drop - or maybe advertisers are spending less on finance and investment related keywords on Google's system? I remember the days of $0.50-$0.75+ per click (and the odd multi-dollar click). Lately, I'm lucky to get $0.20 per click and had a few clicks worth just $0.04... I really don't get enough clicks or enough traffic on my website to actually know if the advertisers are spending less, I just know I ain't making much... I ain't blogging for money, that's for sure. With the drop in revenue, I don't even cover hosting costs for a month.
