Robert J. Nilsen has spent his professional career in finance, accounting, and information systems with a number of New York Stock Exchange companies in the medical and chemical manufacturing/processing areas. He then embarked on a consulting career with a number of organizations to encompass financial services, not-for-profit, automotive, and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Nilsen holds a graduate degree from Rutgers University and was an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Corporate Finance at Kean University from 1977 - 1985.
He tends to be a "value" investor, but will pay a reasonable price for growth when appropriate. He has "bottom fished" in the past but finds it not terribly appropriate.
